Historic Restoration

Camouflage is proud to be designing and project managing the restoration of “Shrublands” grounds in Canterbury, Melbourne.

This stately 1860’s Victorian Italianate home was the residence of Melbourne dentist, Ernest Carter. He was renowned for his interest in rare plants. The property is registered with Heritage Victoria and the National Trust of Australia (Vic).

All drawings have been endorsed by Heritage Victoria and construction started at the beginning of October. The first stages will be Hindson Garden and Lawns , St. Johns Home for Boys Garden, Tennis court refurbishment and the formal entry to the residence (view to entry of residence above).
